Meet The Team
Adam, Pip and their 2 boys joined PBC in April 2006.
They both used to be teachers and met on a missions trip to Uganda.
Previously Adam was an Assistant Pastor at Blandford Evangelical Church and a maths teacher at a secondary school in Bournemouth.
Adam is passionate about helping people find and follow Jesus.
He supports Brighton Football Club and enjoys playing and teaching football.
Fran has been attending PBC for over 40 years, with a real calling to supporting people in many ways. Lovingly supported by her husband Chris of 53 years with two fantastic children, (Sarah in the office being one of them!) and 5 lovely grandchildren.
She is a group leader for one of the ladies Bible groups on a Tuesday morning, as well as heading up the new Cornerstone group and soon-to-be Grief Share Group.
Fran enjoys long forest walks with Chris and their little dog Molly, fine dining and holidays.
George is a 72 year old Scot who has been married to Beverley for 46 years, with 3 grown up children and 2 grandsons.
He retired 7 years ago having been a Baptist minister since 1979 serving in 4 churches.
He is an ardent supporter of Preston North End, enjoys walking and has a somewhat ‘niche’ music taste – black sanctified music pre – 1929.
Youth & Children's Worker
Karl, Nina and the family joined PBC in Jan 2013.
They have 7 grown up children, and were foster carers for 13 years.
Karl has over 30 years experience in working with children and young people, and has supported and resourced many churches as a self-employed youth support & development worker.
Karl is passionate about helping young people engage with God, each other, and the world.
He loves geocaching, American Football, and being with family.
AV Tech / Youth Worker
Harry was baptised at PBC in 2019 and has been involved in AV and youth group roles since, but will pretty much get stuck into anything the church has got going on!
Helping people to find Jesus has become a big part of his life in other ways too, such as leading a group at Alpha courses and speaking at services, including a sermon on grass!
Outside of church, you can find Harry playing tabletop games, reading or painting miniatures.
Sarah has been attending PBC since the age of 11, where she met and married her husband! They have 2 young adult children who are still living at home!
Sarah has been in the office administration role, for over 17 years! And has a passion for being the welcoming face at PBC, encouraging and supporting the church, it’s leadership team and members.
She enjoys running on a regular basis (though during younger years hated it!) country walks with her husband & dog, gardening and being with friends.
