It has been impossible to escape the news of the outbreak and spread of COVID-19. Poulner Baptist Chapel is mindful of the changing circumstances of the outbreak and we encourage everyone to join us in praying for those affected by the virus. Please help us as we take some simple, but important steps to protect ourselves and others from illness.
We will continue to follow and listen to the public health announcements and recommendations. Details of these can be found at: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
With regard to the most recent advice we have decided that we will not be continuing with our scheduled meeting plans for the foreseeable future. We will however be providing pastoral support, encouragement and prayer in other ways during this time. Anyone wishing to receive support should contact the church office, leaders, pastors, home group leaders who will be providing a network of pastoral care and support to those in need. Decisions on the re-instatement of our meeting plans will be in line with advice provided by Public Health England.
We are busy creating and developing a number of online resources which we trust will be provide further support during this time and they include:
Sunday ‘Church at Home’ Streamed Service (10AM Sunday);
Wednesday ‘Church at Home’ Evening Service (7PM Wednesday);
Easter Family - a programme for Families and Children (11AM Sunday & Wednesday);
Youth ‘Church at Home’- a programme for young people (11AM Sunday)
Power-Up Kids Online - a programme for the Power-Up Kids and Power-Up Mini clubs (6PM Thursdays)
Poppets at Home - a programme for pre-schoolers and their families (10AM Fridays)
Zoom chats for Home Groups, Young People and other meetings throughout the week
These activities will be released at the times stated and available through the PBC website. They will of course be available to view at a time that suits you.
