Poppets are "Calling all Cake Bakers"
Poppets will be holding their final sessions next Friday, which will also involve a party for those children who will be starting school in September.
They would really appreciate lots of small home made cakes please (no nuts!).
If you are willing and able to bake some scrummy cakes, please contact the office.
Book Circle
We have had good discussions on ‘L is for Lifestyle’ recently. The next book we are going to look at and talk about is “Mere Christianity” by C.S. Lewis.
It would be great if you would like to join us. If you would like me to get you a copy of this book, please contact the office.
Home Groups
Lots of people benefit from being in Home Groups. If you would like to join a group, see the groups listed on the board in the foyer or in the directory.
Please feel free to talk to one of the Home Group Leaders.
Community Outreach Group Request
COH has had a request for a small brown settee (it would need to have fire regulations tag).
If you can help please contact cog@poulnerchapel.plus.com. Thank you.
Crèche Helpers urgently needed to go on a rota for Sunday mornings.
You will need to be CRB checked.
Please see Trish Bernard if you feel you can help in this ministry, & Sarah Meech for a CRB form.
Visitation Team
Rod Taylor from Outreach UK wrote the
following in his news sheet:-
‘The visiting team at Poulner Baptist Chapel is still going strong. I met up with 5 team members at the end of July. It’s a privilege and joy to visit with them. They are always so bright and joyful in the Lord.’
Would you like to visit with us? If so please contact the office to find out more.
