Visitation Team
In 1990, in response to a sermon by a visitor from Home Evangelism, the Team was started. We keep in touch with Rod Taylor, the Evangelist for Poole and District. Rod comes round the doors with us now and then, and we have helped with new teams in his area.
Before going out, we have a time of prayer. We are blessed by the variety of the services at the Chapel. There is something there for all members of the family, from pre-school Poppets to the Luncheon Club for the not-so-young. Notes are kept. How were we received? Were they Churchgoers? Were they interested? Family problems etc. We leave details of services, a tract or a copy of the GOOD NEWS. They are also left where no-one was at home.
What are the results? A few have come to faith, and some are coming to the Luncheon Club.
With more workers we could do better!
